And so in this video I'm gonna be explaining everything you need to know about the Creator Ads program, especially what exactly it is, how you can actually join, what are the actual perks about it, what kind of content you should be submitting, the do's, the don't.

Um, of course, if just one person subscribes to my channel from this video, I'll continue to post more videos about how to help you make more money on Amazon every week.
Let me break down what Amazon Creator Ads actually is. So it's a brand new program that sits inside the Amazon influencer program that works completely different from anything Amazon's done before because instead of you having to hustle, drive traffic to Amazon. They're kind of flipping the script and they're paying to promote your content across multiple platforms.
What makes it powerful is Amazon takes the content you've already created that's on your storefront, like the product videos, the images, the idea list you've already uploaded, and they're gonna turn those into actual advertisements. They're gonna turn them into different ad creatives, and these ads then get distributed across Amazon's own website.
Uh, there's a few different ones. Essentially, you're not having to pay a cent for any of this advertising, but it gets in front of more eyeballs and potentially more commissions. Ultimately, Amazon or the seller covers the entire advertising cost. Now, when someone sees one of these ads featuring your content and they click on it and ends up purchasing something, you're gonna earn a commission just like you would with regular affiliate links.
But the massive difference is you don't have to spend any of your own money promoting this content. Amazon is essentially saying, Hey, like your product recommendations, so we'll pay to promote them. Right now the program is currently available in the United States, Canada, the uk, Germany, France. I. Spain and Italy, um, which is actually a huge advantage if you're watching this video.
But in a more simple term, this is essentially creating a partnership between the Amazon influencer program and Amazon ads. So I still sell products on Amazon. I have an Amazon seller account. I actually went into my Amazon seller account. I went to the Amazon ads section, and I did find the section where.
Sellers can opt in for this and essentially find content that is relating to the product that they can use in the form of ads. Now, uh, the best part about it, at least for you, is, like I said, it's very easy to opt in. I'll show you how to do that and everything, you know, how to do it with, but it's essentially just easy free money.
I would say the only downside potentially is it's brand new. We don't really know if it is going to work super well or not long term, but stuff like this is really good to get in on in the very beginning, in my opinion, before everyone knows it's a really, really good idea. Okay. So it's really no loss to you.
You can only gain from it. How it works is you're gonna upload a video review of a product that's normal, okay? And a brand is gonna see your video and want to use it to promote their listing. They enable creator ads by selecting your video inside of their Amazon ads console, like I showed you before.
And then Amazon runs your video as a paid ad, uh, with your name attached. You're gonna earn increased commissions if viewers watch your ad and make a purchase real quick. If you want the exact step-by-step process to get approved to the influencer program, start earning commissions and increase your earnings, but also unlock free products to review.
I put all of this information into my guide, the Amazon Influencer Q code. I put it down below in the video description and for a limited time it's completely for free. So hurry and grab your copy. So how do you know if you qualify or if you can join Creator Connections? Clearly you need to be an approved Amazon influencer with an active storefront and not just an empty storefront.
You need to have already uploaded, uh, some shoppable content, meaning, uh, videos or images. That have products tagged in them. Alright? If you're already an Amazon influencer, but you haven't been creating content for your storefront, you'll wanna start doing that right away. Now, once you're in the program, the process is surprisingly hands off.
Amazon handles all the technical stuff. Your job is to keep creating high quality content about products you genuinely recommend. Overall, this really changes the traditional affiliate marketing model. Okay? Think about it. Normally you have to figure out how to drive traffic to Amazon. You're making YouTube videos, writing blogs, posting on social media.
Maybe even running your own ads. Okay. All while trying to send people to Amazon. But with Creator ads, Amazon is driving the traffic to your content. Instead, it's basically Amazon saying, make great content about our products, and we'll pay to promote it. They're putting their massive ad budget because they know that authentic creator recommendations convert better than traditional product ads.
Now just think about how much time and money you normally spend trying to get eyes on your affiliate links. But with creator ads, you can redirect the energy. To making better content about products you love. Okay, while Amazon handles, uh, everything else, a few clear benefits for influencers is first, you're gonna get far more visibility.
Your video gets promoted directly by the brand. You're gonna earn higher earnings because ads optin drive more clicks and more purchases and more commission. There's not gonna be any extra work. You don't have to turn on or manage any ads. Um, and also more brand partnerships because it's gonna lead to more collaborations if your videos perform well.
But it's important to note that not all videos are eligible. Your content must already be live and approved. So this only works for videos already earning onsite commissions on product pages. And brands choose which videos they promote. Now that you understand creator ads, okay, I know that was kinda long, but let's talk about something really fast that's pretty serious, and that's content rules that can essentially get your entire account, uh, shut down overnight if done incorrectly.
I have the general guidelines here of things that you should and should not do. They're all important, but I just wanna highlight a few that I feel like are worth mentioning. The first one may catch you by Surprise, but that's Amazon's complete band of featuring any minors or kids in your content. Not just talking about making kids a focus of your videos.
I mean, they can't appear anywhere, even for a split second in the background. And this applies even if they're your own children. So you just wanna make sure you watch out for that and, uh, kind of prepare when you're recording content. Another common pitfall is having any kind of like alcohol, tobacco, or vaping products visible.
Anywhere near your videos. This sounds obvious enough. Um, but, uh, think about how many product reviews you might have film in your kitchen. Maybe there's a wine rack in the background or on the desk, like, like, you know, just watch out for that. Another big one is brand comparisons are prohibited. So, you know, popular dupe videos where creators show Amazon alternatives to, uh, expensive brands like those will get your content rejected immediately.
So any kind of terms like knockoff or look like, or just like even subtle comparisons like this, performs better than that expensive brand are all strictly forbidden. Amazon wants you focusing exclusively on their product merits without referencing competitors. Now, beyond content rules, a few other technical things is they want your videos to be vertical, meaning your phone is standing up straight, not horizontal, and they recommend having it between 10 and 30 seconds, which is pretty short.
The surprising part is your voiceover, uh, needs to be more than half of the video duration. Okay? Of course, they don't want any music in the background. Um, and they also don't want any obvious call to action like, Hey, swipe up for more, or, link in my bio or check out my profile, or, uh, hit me up at this.
Anything like that? Eh, not good. Don't do it. The content needs to be direct. Clear paths to purchasing without sending viewers elsewhere first. Alright. The safest approach is creating content that focuses on a singular product's, unique features and benefits. Demonstrate it, how to use it. One thing that I personally do is I have this like neck tripod thing.
I'll put it on and, uh, I could just put my phone, it, uh, slaps on here like a magnet, and it's perfect for any kind of hands off, uh, demonstration. And my last huge tip with content is use hashtags with every piece of content that you post. Okay. Hashtags are so underutilized. Hashtags is what social media platforms use to take your content and the correct audience and put 'em together.
Okay? And you can use up to 30. So what you need to be doing is go to Chet, go to Google, and just type in um, what are the best 30 hashtags. For a product review about Blink, you're gonna find 'em on there, just copy and paste. It'll make the biggest difference. It's gonna make your content evergreen with great SEO for years to come.
So make sure you do that. That's the biggest, biggest tip I wanna give you. Now, before I show you how to actually sign up for Creator Ads, I need to explain the difference between creator ads. Creator Ads Boost just to make sure that there's no confusion. So Creator Ads Boost is actually an extension of the Creator Ads program, where essentially Amazon is gonna boost organic content that you post.
On your social media accounts, uh, with their advertising. So after you sign up any eligible organic content that you post using Amazon affiliate links will be able to qualify to be used for creator ads boost. In other words, Amazon is advertising products. Off Amazon now. So Creator Ads is advertising on Amazon with your content and creator Ads Boost.
Is Amazon advertising your content off Amazon? Okay, hope that makes sense. Now, currently Creator Ads Boost is only available through Instagram story. But like I said, whenever you do post on your story. Referencing a product, you do need to make sure that you are referencing the product with the affiliate link, uh, using deep links.
And if you're unsure what Deep Links means and you've seen it around, I have a very, very simple explanation. I hope, uh, will make sense. A deep link is a URL that takes you directly to a specific page or piece of content inside an Apple website rather than just opening up the homepage. An example is a regular link to Amazon.
Is www.amazon.com, a deep link to a specific product. URL is the same url, uh slash the product asin. That's a deep link. This second link takes you straight to the product page and skips a homepage or any navigation menus. Now to enroll in creator ads. It's very, very simple. And remember, you can opt out if you want to and you can opt back in, so it's not a big deal.
You can change it in the future if you'd like to. You're gonna need to go to the Amazon Creator Ads page. Scroll down just a little bit to join Creator Ads now. Then you're gonna opt in for creator ads. And then if you wanna opt in for creator ads boost, you can do that too. So just click opt in for your storefront and then I allow Amazon to share my Instagram handle and I agree to Meta's terms and conditions.
And then opt-in. Now they're gonna do a quick test. It'll take at most 72 hours, uh, to make sure that your Instagram is good to go. And then I'm gonna show you what to do to opt into creator ads boost on your phone. So. You're gonna pull up your phone. Let's go ahead, open up our Amazon app, click into the top right under settings, go down to Creator Tools and Controls, and then you're going to go to partnership ads.
And then two things. One, you should have a request under manage ad permissions. We're gonna click our request. It's Amazon. I'm gonna improve. And then under program invitations, if it's disabled, oh, it's already enabled, so I don't want to disable it. Okay? That's how you're gonna enable Creator Ads boost on your Instagram.
Now, I hope that this is clear the air on what the Creator Ads program is, but if you haven't already figured out the Creator Connections program, then I highly recommend that you watch my video right up here. Check it out. It's everything you need to know about how to maximize your earnings with Creator connections.
